During this contract I was working for Tech Britain, but represented one of the UKs largest administrators Leonard Curtis.

In October Social media giant Unilad fell into administration and was later acquired by The LadBible.

I lead the digital takeover and was tasked with making sure all digital assets were under the control of the administrators.

Role involved:

• Managing and monitoring all of the digital assets owned by Unilad.
• Worked with The LadBible team after the acquisition to safely handover all assets.

Store operations manager

Responsible for setting up a new department store business, contacting and negotiating new concession partners for a brand new business. Drawing up contracts and invoicing for payments. My role includes cold calling potential new partners for the business and insuring businesses operating in store are to full capacity. This includes sales data reporting on stock lines sold and proactively promoting the stock in store.

During in the store set up period I liaised with contractors onsite whilst the restaurant was refitted. I also set up new suppliers for the stores restaurant and salon.

I had a major role in staff recruitment for the store and ongoing staff training.

My role as a multi department manager within a busy independent department store involves the daily running of the fashion floor, lingerie department, shoe hall and cosmetics department.. My role of store manager included the daily running of a trade store with a small team of employees. My role was to exceed sales targets and KPIs set. Product knowledge was key to my role as it included working closely with trade customers. I was responsibly for stock replenishment via both a manual and assisted replenishment system. I worked closely with my team and other stores with training and personal development to maximise their potential . Often I undertook staff training and product knowledge in other stores as my ability to communicate and explain is very effective.

Space planning and merchandising was also part of this role. Audit compliance was my responsibility from daily administration duties to stock take.

Derrick Errol Evans MBE

Derrick Errol Evans (Mr Motivator) “MBE” was born in Jamaica, but has lived most of his life in the UK

After starting in the fitness business as an instructor in North west London, Evans went on to provide One2one training to many Celebrities.

His big break came on the 23rd August 1993, he was Credited with turning around the fortunes of the Breakfast Television Show GMTV.

Evans created a memorable persona wearing his now trademark bright coloured unitards, with complimentary socks and bum bags.

He then went on to release a number of exercise videos and this range of videos, called BLT (Bums, Legs Tums) became the biggest selling titles in the UK and to date over 2m videos have been sold.

After approximately 10 years at GMTV Evans resigned and proceeded to develop the Motivational speaking side of his abilities, Providing talks and Team Building activities for many blue chip companies.

Each year he makes Personal appearances  on the main stage at many Family Music Festivals, around the UK and abroad with also many Motivational speaking engagements

He has been living between the UK and Jamaica since the year 2000, running his eco-friendly adventure park called H’Evans Scent. Evans spends time travelling to the UK each month to carry out his many public duties.

2009 came back to GMTV to spearhead a campaign on Fitness, The Get Motivated club, where he met prime Minister Gordon Brown and also worked on the Change 4 life campaign with the NHS.

Evans provides mass workouts for many varying charities, schools and his unique way of exercising,

has meant that he is in great demand which continues to lead to numerous Television, Film and radio appearances.

2017: He launched his autobiography called The Warm Up, a story of his life so far
